  Caring For Your Scissors

Do only cut hair with hair scissors - this will keep them sharper for longer
Do always wash hair before cutting - sand, dust and grit in the hair helps dull the fine edge your scissors
Do wipe down your scissors between cuts
Do oil your scissors at the end of the day with scissor oil
Do store your scissors with the blades closed in a safe, dry container

Do not drop your scissors - dropping them damages the tips, causes nicks and tears in the blades and disrupts their alignment
